Enjoy our gorgeous & romantic 300 year old, Grade II listed property in central Tetbury. This first floor apartment is all on one level leading out onto a private garden. There is private parking outside, excellent Wi-Fi and lots of space.
You will love our large high-ceiling, spacious rooms with original wood beams and lots of personal touches. We refurbished the apartment to provide a mx of traditional Cotswold charm with a stylish, well appointed space.

Although centrally situated for Tetbury town, only 2 mins walk up the hill, Gumstool Hill is very steep. Those with mobility issues, may want to drive up to the centre where there is a car park at the top of the hill.
We welcome pets and children under 2 years old. We have a doggie welcome pack, a baby travel cot, high chair and baby bath. If you are planning on bringing a baby or a dog, please do let us know so we can leave the right equipment for you.
We are a no-smoking and no candles property. We ask for you to keep the noise down after 10pm.

Arriving by Road from London (100.0 miles)
Take the M4 going west.
Exit at Junction 16
Follows signs to Swindon on the A3102
Continue on for a few miles until you reach a roundabout where there is an Aldi on your left.
Continue straight on here and follow signs to Malmesbury. You will now be on the B4042
Continue along this road until you arrive at another large roundabout by Malmesbury.
Go right here and follow signs to Tetbury. (There is a Waitrose you will pass on your left here). This is the A429
Continue along here following signs to Tetbury. Go straight over the next roundabout and then take a left at the second roundabout (signposted Tetbury - the B4014).
This road takes you into central Tetbury.
You will drive into the town on Silver Street.
You will pass some shops and as you get to a junction where the road bends round to the left, you will see a triangle of parked cars opposite on your right. you
Take the road to the right by the parked cars - This is Gumstool Hill
You can drive straight down (instead of going left around the road you are on) and you will see Delburn House on your left near the bottom of the road by the Green.
Arriving by Road from Birmingham (75.0 miles)
Take the M5 South from Birmingham.
Exit at Junction 13 and take a left at the roundabout onto the A419 towards Stroud.
At the next roundabout take a right onto Spring Hill (4th exit)
At the next roundabout take a left (1st exit) onto the Bath Road
Keep going along this road for a few miles.
The road become Frocester Hil. It then winds round to the left and becomes Bath Road again.
Just keep going on the same road and you should be seeing signs for Tetbury along the way.
Take a left onto the A4135. This should be signed to Tetbury but also Kingscote.
This left is just past the Kingscote Barn.
This road brings you into the opposite side of Tetbury town.
You will see a mini roundabout and Banana antiques on your left.
Take a right at this roundabout which takes you up the main shopping street of Tetbury.
Go straight over the mini roundabout at the top of the hill. You will see the historic Market Place building on your right and the Snooty Fox Hotel on your left.
Once you have past these you will see a road on your left and a triangle of parked cars. This is Gumstool Hill
You will need to go left down this road.
Delburn House is located nearly at the bottom of the hill on your left.
Arriving by Road from Exeter (100.0 miles)
Take the M5 North from Exeter
Exit at Pilning Interchange Junction following signs for the M4 going East to London/Bristol
Continue on M4 a short while and exit at Junction 18
Take the A46 exit to Bath/Stroud
After nearly 6 miles, the road forks.
Keep right and take the A433
Continue for about 7.5 miles past villages Willesly and Didmartin until you arrive in Tetbury.
You will enter the town passing St. Mary's Church on your right and past the shops on Church Street.
You will arrive at a roundabout at the top of the road with the Snooty Fox Hotel directly in front of you.
Take a right at the roundabout and then take your first left after this. This is Gumstool Hill.
You will see a triangle of parked cars at the top of this road.
Delburn House is located on the left nearly at the bottom of this hill opposite the Millennium Green.
Arriving by Train to Kemble Station (8.0 miles)
Kemble Station is the nearest railway station to Tetbury.
Although there are some local buses (the 882 bus mentioned below), to Tetbury, they are very infrequent so we recommend taking a local taxi. They are not expensive and they only take 10 minutes.
Some local firms are dog friendly but you would need to call first and check to see if they will take your pet. Try Reliance Taxis in Tetbury on +44 1285 640950.
Getting around the local area
The public services around Tetbury are very limited, so we would recommend hiring a car or taking taxis.
The 882 bus service does go from Tetbury. to Cirencester and stops in Kemble at the station on the way. We advise getting a copy of the timetable before travel as there are only a handful of buses each day.
Neighbourhood
Tetbury is one of the most stylish of all of the market towns in the Cotswolds, a historic wool town and favourite amongst Royals.
Cafés, restaurants, boutique shops selling gifts and clothes, a small open-air market and lots of antique shops fill the town centre.
There are some fantastic gastropubs in the surrounding areas to discover too.
Local highlights include:
King Charles’ Highgrove Estate where you can visit the gardens and eat in their garden restaurant
Westonbirt, the National Arboretum - home to over 2,500 species of. tree is a great day out. They also host events including open air concerts and have a lovely Christmas lights trail.
The Bathhurst Estate and Cirencester Park (designed by Alexander Pope) is open to to the public. You can buy tickets online.
Badminton House (the Duke of Beaufort's residence) hosts the famous Badminton Horse Trial once a year. They also host other events and the gardens are open to the public. Guided tours of the mansion are also available.
Beaufort Polo Club hosts the Gloucesters Festival of Polo once a year.
Stoud is a lovely and vibrant market town to visit and hosts a great Christmas market in December. Nearby the Stroud Brewery is a fun activity with tours and tastings.
Cirencester is only about 10 mins drive and you can visit the Cathedral and other sites in this historic town.
